JMeter - Config Element - "Java Request Defaults"

“Java Request Defaults” is used to set default parameters to pass them into Java Request. Java Request Defaults config element is added under the Test Plan. The parameter values can be overridden using Java Request. 

How to add "Java Request Defaults" element?
You can follow below steps to add Java Request Defaults:
1. Select "Test Plan" node
2. Right click on "Test Plan" node
3. Mouse hovers "Add"
4. Mouse hovers "Config Element"
5. Click "Java Request Defaults" 


How to remove "Java Request Defaults" element?
You can follow the below steps:
1. Select "Java Request Defaults" node
2. Right click on "Java Request Defaults" node
3. Click "Remove" (Mouse) or "Delete" button from the keyboard
4. Click "Yes"  

What are the attributes of "Java Request Defaults" element?

"Java Request Defaults" has below attributes:
  • Name: To provide element name
  • Comments: To provide arbitrary comments (if any)
  • Classname: It has two values either .JavaTest or .SleepTest.
  • Sleep_time
  • Sleep_mask
  • Lebel
  • Response Code
  • ResponseMessage
  • Status
  • SamplerData
  • ResultData
