Hi Gagan, I need to perform a load test. Information all I have is total number of requests/page. On average it's 102 requests per minute. To achieve 102 requests/min to server with "X" number of users, can I consider requests/sec as transactions/sec and go ahead with above calculators to get what ever required?
Big confusion for me, if I don't have Target(Transactions/hr) to be achieved in my hand. Can i go ahead with requests/sec or requests/hr ?

If you are using Micro Focus Controller then you can use "Hits per second" goal oriented scenario and achieve the target (102 requests per minute).
ReplyDeleteIf you are using JMeter then use "Constant Throughput Timer" where you can give 102 as an input for "Target Throughput per minute"
If you are using Micro Focus Performance Centre then create transaction of each request and control it via think time and pacing.
