What is the advantage of running vuser as a process and disadvantage of running vuser as a thread?
ReplyDeleteThe use of 'Running Vuser as a Process' and 'Running Vuser as a thread' depends on the requirement. Some time when protocol is not thread safe then you have to go for 'Running Vuser as a process' mode although it takes large memory footprint. I guess you can extract the advantages and disadvantage from the above post, as you are specific to know the advantage of 'Runing Vuser as a Process' then I would say 'Running Vuser as a Process' is supported by all the protocol.
DeleteAnother you want to know the disadvantage of 'Running Vuser as a thread' then I just say you can not use multi threading for all the protocols. Hence it is restricted.
please answer this question,
