Throughput (in LoadRunner term): The amount of data moved successfully from server to client in a given time period is called throughput. Typically it is measured in bits per second (bps), as in megabits per second (Mbps) or gigabits per second (Gbps)
Throughput (in JMeter term): The total no. of request during the test duration. Throughput = No. of Request / Test Duration
Requests per second: The no. of request sent by performance testing tool in one second.

Could you please elaborate on Requests per second counters , its meaning in performance testing analysis and reporting perspective ?
